Cerro Colorado:
Silver mining dated from prior to the Civil War. Post Office discontinued 1911. Located approx. N31" 39.51, W111" 16.39, or about 15 miles west of Arivaca, AZ (33 miles south on I-19 from its intersection with I-10 in Tuscon, AZ), off West Arivaca Road. Open range, so don't let the cows get you. Roads leading off of West Arivaca are private - we had to drive up a dry creek bed.
